On October 24, 2002 LivingWorks President Richard Ramsay accepted the Knowledge Broker Award at the 2002 National Policy Research Conference in Ottawa.
The Canadian Policy Research Awards are meant to recognize the range of activities necessary to produce and disseminate sound, relevant and reliable policy research. Winners are chosen for various reasons including leadership, research and analytical skill, and dedication to public engagement in policy development. They share a commitment to the expansion of knowledge and to excellence in policy research. The Knowledge Broker Award is designed to celebrate excellence by Canadian individuals, groups or organizations working in the policy research field, whose work helped facilitate and improve the transfer of knowledge.
