The first International LivingWorks Conference was
a success
What took place?
- The first International Conference
for LivingWorks Trainers
was themed "On the Road Again!" in the
spirit of the late Roger Tierney's dedication to disseminating suicide prevention programming, and
in
connection with taking the ASIST "on the road again" to its
tenth edition.
- Delegates got to enjoy the beautiful Canadian Rockies and
take part in recreational tours and activities, while discovering the new
edition of
ASIST.
- ASIST trainers had the opportunity to meet their LivingWorks support staff
and fellow trainers from all areas of the globe.

- Guests and companions of partners, trainers and staff
- Delegates represented Canada (9 provinces), Norway, Australia,
USA (10 states), Japan and Russia

- Registered trainers took part in a series of discovery workshops to prepare
them for field testing the beta version of ASIST X

Field trials with the beta version of ASIST X are now underway
with revisions to be completed over the summer and ASIST X, Version 1 to be
released
in September
2003. All registered trainers will be eligible to update to this next
version following the September release date. Stay tuned to this site for
further update information as it becomes available.
