System requirements for safeTALK audiovisuals
The safeTALK audiovisuals are provided on a traditional, low-tech DVD that can be used with any basic TV/DVD player as well as on a computer. The audiovisuals are also provided in PowerPoint format with inserted videos in Mpeg format. safeTALK trainer candidates are responsible for verifying that their equipment (computer, laptop, LCD projector, DVD player and software, plugins, etc. ) where they will use their audiovisuals complies with the minimum requirements described below.
System requirements for traditional DVD (serial number SN1753)
- DVD player connected to a television, or computer with DVD drive, 8Mb of video RAM and DVD decoder card or DVD decoder software. Please note that some Windows computers do not come pre-built with DVD decoder software. See windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/windows-media-player/plug-ins.
- If using the DVD on a computer, external speakers and a compatible projector with screen are required onsite for trainings.
