Symposium highlights include:
Keynote Speaker: Mr. Bill Wilkerson Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO of the Global Business and Economic Roundtable on Addiction and Mental Health will share ideas on how to focus suicide prevention efforts in the workplace. Mr. Wilkerson will launch the suicide prevention recommendations from the Mental Health Roundtable report at the Symposium.

- Learn about the Community Helpers Project currently offered in a number of Alberta communities
- Discuss adapting suicide prevention strategies for Aboriginal communities
- Network with researchers, practitioners, and other stakeholders from industry and business, schools, youth organizations and communities
- On the second day, share your thoughts in small group discussions about what is currently happening in suicide prevention in Alberta – the successes and challenges and what needs to happen to move the issue forward.
