Jarrod Hindman, M.S., is a strong proponent of community and public health and deeply committed to the field of suicide prevention. As Vice President of Community Development, he develops and implements LivingWorks’ community-based approach to suicide prevention and facilitates partnerships and collaborations to greatly expand the reach of our life-saving solutions.
Prior to joining LivingWorks, Jarrod worked as the Deputy Chief in the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Violence and Injury Prevention – Mental Health Promotion Branch. There he led a large team in suicide prevention, and youth substance abuse and violence prevention. He also set strategic direction for the branch to ensure that community safety and mental health promotion were recognized as public health issues.
Jarrod has been involved in notable initiatives such as the Colorado-National Collaborative for Suicide Prevention, the Colorado Gun Shop Project and Man Therapy, and he has extensive experience in areas of mental health promotion, suicide prevention, youth initiatives, and public health.
