safeTALK with Safe Out: Keeping our LGBTQ Communities Safe
safeTALK Training - English

Please join Safe Out for safeTALK, a training to help increase your knowledge and ability to reach out to prevent suicide. This workshop is open to everyone, regardless of prior experience or education. safeTALK is great for caregivers, teachers, community and youth leaders, and just anyone that just wants to help keep LGBTQ folks safe - including your friends and family. It's also open to all communities although Safe Out has a special emphasis on preventing suicide in the LGBTQ community.

By the end of this free training, you will become a resource within the community to help identify, support, and connect people with the care they need and deserve. This event is free and open to the community, but you must be 15 or older to attend.

Mercy Maricopa Integrated Care (MMIC), Safe Out, and Terros Health are committed to creating safer communities in Maricopa County and equipping more individuals with the skills to reach out and support one another. As such, MMIC, Terros Health, and Safe Out are supporting all costs of this workshop, which is valued at $25 per person, so that it can be free of charge to you.
